Are you new to the Super Tangk concept?
We have made
a pledge to all dancers attending a Super Tangk that we will assess
everyone booking this event to ensure a common mininum standard of
technique .
Super Tangk
workshops
assume dancers have achieved a defined standard of technique that
we assess. If we don't know you, you will be recommended to
first attend the Tangkademy and then progress to the Super Tangk. If
you have been dancing regularly for at least 3 years, we can arrange
for an assessment of your suitability to get the most out of a Super
Tangk.
Booking process
Please use the link below to book, even if you have attended previous Tangkademy, Tangk or Super Tangk workshops.
If you do not follow the system you will lose your place in the
queue. Once we have processed your registration (and assessment if necessary) you will be given instructions on
how to pay. Booking Form
Booking is only open to assessed dancers booking with a partner for all 3 days.
If you are travelling fro outside the area and want to make a weekend of it, a list of local B&Bs is available B&Bs.
Payment can be made online using a
credit/debit card, by cheque, or by BACS, but only after sending your
requirements to Debbie via email.

Super Tangk Weekend Workshops
We are pleased to present to you the only
Argentine Tango Workshop in the UK that assesses and monitors the level
of technique of all
participants to ensure a common minimum standard of skill in the
workshops. The ethos of the Super Tangk is to celebrate achievement in
tango dancing by providing a workshop environment that we guarantee is attended by dancers who have all achieved a suitable level of experience, skill and understanding of this beautiful dance.
Please note that to attend at Super Tangk you will need to be assessed
by Tango UK or an accredited tango teacher located around the UK.
All of our other training events, lessons and workshops are designed to prepare dancers for the Super Tangk, our flagship event.

What does a Super Tangk
weekend offer?
The Super Tangk concept is a
weekend full of tango - a mix of private lessons, workshops, free
dancing, shared meals and three evening milongas, sometimes with spontaneous live
music, as musicians who dance share their love of tango with us.
As
well as dancing in the workshops and using the open dance floor to practice, there is plenty of time and space to sit and chat,
share tango thoughts, take a nap between workshops, prepare shared
meals and eat together. It is a wonderful celebration of dance and
friendship.

How much is a Super
Tangk?
The weekend costs £88.
Evening milongas are included in the weekend ticket price or available
separately for £7 Friday, £7 on Saturday
and £6 on Sunday. Don't forget you can also have private
lessons
with visiting instructors - a one-to-one lesson for 55 minutes costs
£30.

Once you are assessed, we will send you instructions on how to pay securely online by email.
If you prefer, we also accept cheques by post. Your place(s) are not confirmed until
payment is received in full. We advise that you do not commit to
accommodation or travel expenses until you receive confirmation of your
