Designed for first time
dancers
with two left feet, this Saturday workshop will give you the confidence
and ability to dance basic tango with a partner.
Steve and Debbie Morrall

Tangkademy
(previously called Tango Tangk) is a weekend workshop aimed at dancers
who can dance a balanced ocho and giro, both solo and partnered.
The unique
roles of the man and the woman are clearly
defined and explained. The classes exchange roles so both dancers may
deepen their understanding of the dance from a partner's perspective.
The goals of this weekend workshop are better musicality, connection,
style and technique.
You don't need to book with a partner, but we monitor bookings to
ensure that we have a balance of dancers in the man's and woman's role
so every one has a partner to work with during the workshops.
Over the last 5 years, Steve and Debbie have run over 30 weekend
workshop events, and focus on creating a superb learning environment
for dancers and building a community of like-minded people.

Reinforce your technique
at a
Tango Bodyshop
workshop.
A workshop to make your
dance sparkle and help you gauge your true dance standard through video
feedback. More
Fast moving, focused
content
aimed at all dancers who feel their dance
is in the doldrums. We reinforce technique, give your style a make-over
and reduce the need to memorise steps.
Tango Bodyshop will help
you
panel-beat bad habits, buff up your posture and supercharge your
latino attitude.
Steve and Debbie Morrall lead four
1 hour sessions concentrating on elements of fundamental technique. The
last 10 minutes of each session is set aside for dancing the move on
camera so all participants can view
their 'before and after' technique and posture. It is a very powerful

The workshop can be
scaled to
work
with a couple or a small group, and is an ideal format to use as part
of a tango club's curriculum anywhere in the UK (subject to
arrangements).

fortune to work with many international teachers, many Argentinians and
many UK based. Most of them excellent. And I can assure you...

workhop I have ever attended. With the number of participants kept
quite small and with the detailed, clear way in which Steve explains it

& Ines were outstanding in their humorous but well detailed
delivery of the subject matter.
Their
selection of topics was inspirational, not complicated, one off, look
at me stuff, but nuts and bolts core skills.
I
can't wait to get back on the floor to explore the explosion of
possibilities this Tangk has unlocked.
